Hi, I'm Igor! This is my small website, mostly for blogging. Old-fashioned, I know. 

What's up?

• I do video games, more for art than for anything else, but also try to make the process sustainable.
  This is my studio's website: https://www.unplaythegame.com/ (crappy, I know).

• I'm doing a PhD in Anthropology at the University of Toronto. I study Russian-speaking immigrants in Japan, making a video game as a thesis. Always questioning whether I should drop it. I guess that's part of the process.

• I live in Canada and am actively engaged with Japan. Travel a lot, although much less lately.

• If you wanna contact me, find me on social media; it should be easy.

I used to have Livejournal for blogging, but it got completely censored, so I guess it's time to move here.  I still haven't figured out which language it will be in, so for now, navigation is in English, but the blog posts are in whatever language I feel like writing them in. Does it even matter in the age of AI? You can translate it anyway.

To read the blog - just hover over the "blog" section in navigation and choose the post. Maybe I will replace it with something better later. Maybe not :)
